Drew and I were just discussing what any of our kids would look like in our comic’s little fur-iverse.

We’d been kicking around the idea of what to make them look like and we were discussing names. Cat-otter, Otter-Cat, Cotter… things like that.

Well, I did a search and lo! I found out that the “Otter Cat” is a real breed!

It’s really late right now but here’s an update. I have enough free time to post a comic a day lately, even if I don’t always have the motivation. You know, the umph.

Anyway, I used to work at the local marina here, first as a jetski instructor, later as the beach house/snack girl. At the first job, I don’t remember being happier. Except when I got married, of course. At the second job, I don’t remember a time that I wanted to kill myself more.

I hated a LOT of the customers I got. Especially this one black woman who insisted I give her a free drink because Bob (still hate that bald old white man) forgot to mention that the promo was for SLUSHIES and wouldn’t leave til I paid for the damn thing myself. Bitch.

Anyway. Simpler times were then.

EDIT: Also, I met Drew at that second job so not all bad came of it. When we started dating about a month later, I drew him little comics and pictures while I was at work. Again, this is his idea. Love you babe!

We just had an earthquake hit Okinawa. Everything’s ok. The dog and I are fine.

The quake managed to break two things, a bottle of apple cider and the lid for my teapot but other than that, nothing valuable’s damaged. The quake manage to move my 55gal tank about a foot and a half from the wall. It felt like it lasted forever. And by that, I mean about 10 seconds. I haven’t been able to sleep since it hit at 0531 this morning.

But yeah. The dog and I are fine. Drew’s in a different country altogether.

There was a tsunami warning but it’s since been lifted.
